Prophetess Norma Chism is the founder of Latter Rain International Ministries. She believes every person deserves to have their basic needs met. However, there are many villages and areas all around the globe that have little or no access to something as basic as clean water supply. Prophetess Chism and Latter Rain International Ministries seeks to carry out the Great Commission of teaching and preaching the gospel and to meet the basic need of mankind: food, clothes and clean drinking water. Conversely, Prophetess Chism provides women throughout the country with tools to enhance life personally, professionally and spiritually through her Women's Leadership & Empowerment Day (WLED).
Latter Rain International Ministries is a 501c3 Christian organization dedicated to serving others. Our main focus is to spread the Gospel and provide basic necessities to those in need. We believe the true testament of our Christianity is to show the love of Christ meeting physical and spiritual needs of others. Our mission is to create hearts of unity and maximize efforts as we experience Christ centered results.
We currently conduct ministry in Sri Lanka, and have successfully provided clean drinking water to a large community, distributing over 10,000 meals and dispersing approximately 400 pounds of clothes. We have preached the Gospel of Jesus Christ in 20 cities and witnessed the healing, deliverance and salvation of many. Latter Rain International Ministries started its operational services and support to Sri Lanka in June 2014, currently serving an area of less than 5% Christian. We have discovered that there is much to do and our goal is to educate the world about the areas that are in great need of our assistance. The ministry has been graced with a variety of partners from different areas of our community. Thus, our goal is to share our bounty with those whose survival depends on it. We believe in helping those areas that are not blessed with the many basic things in life. Our work and resources primarily go to Sri Lanka because there is an undeniable need for God's word to reach this unchartered area, which experience an extreme lack of resources.
